International recognition for Zen Interiors
Design company wins award for its Dubai Marina project

ZEN Interiors has won another prestigious international award for bespoke residential interior design. The latest honour, Five Stars for the Best International Interior Design Apartment, was won at the 18th an-nual International Property Awards finals in London in December for a project completed in Le Reve Tower, Dubai Marina, UAE. It follows two awards to Zen Interiors for Best Interior Design Apartment Dubai and Best Interior Design Apartment Arabia for the same project in Dubai. The International Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals in all sectors of property and real estate and are recognised as the top awards for distinction in the best international developments, architecture and interior design. The apartment in Le Reve, one of the most distinctive and exclu-sive developments in the Gulf, was a full-floor apartment of 1,300 sq m. The aim of the project was to create an Arabic and African de-sign that blended with the func-tional necessities of a 21st century penthouse. By achieving this, Zen Interiors won the praise of the International Property Awards, beating off competition from Asia, the Americas and Europe. General manager Merete Broen said: "The award was recognition of our progress and hard work over the 10 years we have been in business." Zen Interiors was created in 2003 to provide high-end bespoke residential interior design, turnkey solutions and furniture retail for lo-cal and multinational clients in the Middle East. Most of its work is based in the United Arab Emirates, such as Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, and Marina Villas in Abu Dhabi, but it also retains a select portfolio of regional and interna-tional clients.
